Applicants for 2008 Beach Haven Beach Patrol
Tryouts for the Beach Haven Beach Patrol will be held on
Saturday, May 31, Saturday, June 7, Saturday, June 14 and
Saturday, June 21 at 10:00 AM on Centre Street and the ocean in
the Borough of Beach Haven, NJ. Testing will consist of a timed
1000 foot open water swim, a timed four jetty run, a mock rescue
and post- tryout interview. Please email Jack Marhefka at
BeachPatrol@beachhaven-nj.gov with the date that you will be
taking the test. Bring a bathing suit and towel when you come.
Hope to see you. (CPR and First Aid certifications are not
needed to take the test)
