Important
Water meters will be
activated as of January 1,
2012. Water bills for the
first quarter of 2012 will
be mailed out the first week
of April and will be due May
1st, with a ten
day grace period.
Henceforth, the quarterly
billing due date schedule
for water will be concurrent
with that of taxes (May 1,
August 1, November 1 and
February 1
Property taxes are due on the following dates:
February 1st. First quarter
May 1st. Second quarter
August 1st. Third quarter
November 1st. Fourth quarter
Regular tax bills are mailed once a year,
usually at the end of June or the beginning of
July.
Checks should be made payable to: Borough of
Beach Haven
If a receipt is desired please send a self
addressed stamped envelop with the entire tax
bill. The Borough allows a 10-day grace period
with payments being credited on the date
received.
POST MARKS
ARE NOT HONORED.
Delinquent taxes are subject to interest as
follows:

8% up to $1,500.00

18% on balances over $1,500.00 per annum.

Any delinquency in excess of $10,000 will be
charged a penalty of 6% if not paid by the
end of the fiscal year.
