Thursday, July 1, 2010 marked a historic
event in Beach Haven as the newly elected
Council took office. The voice of the
voters was heard requesting a change in form
of government and a five (5) member council
was elected during the non-partisan election
in May. The July 1 swearing in ceremony
drew a large crowd of optimistic residents
and friends and family. The swearing in and
organization meeting was followed by a
luncheon at the Beach Haven Volunteer Fire
Co. #1 kicking off a new era.
The Swearing In ceremony and Organization
Meeting will be televised on local Channel
22 on Thursday, July 8th at
8:00pm.
